La Guardia High School students raise over $2k at recent show

Gabriela Veciana and her talented friends from La Guardia HS raised over $2k for the people of Puerto Rico at an artistic fundraiser last summer. The amount raised went to home rebuilding efforts by the Garcia Davila Family Project in the northern coastal towns of Puerto Rico, which were ravaged by hurricane Maria almost two years ago. Gabriela herself wants to thank all donors and attendees: Hello donors! I wanted to personally extend my thanks to all of you for donating on my behalf to Teens4PR. With your combined efforts and ticket sales, we raised more than $2500 for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico. Although many of you could not make it to the benefit, I deeply appreciate your dedication to still donate. The event went incredibly well! We had a packed house and 12 performances, all created and curated by students. Our efforts don't stop here! I will be sure to reach out again when I know of/host more opportunities to get involved.
Thank you all again
Gabriela
