Teens4PR Partners with PRXPR to Bring Snacks to Children in Vieques

Teens4PR will donate $2k to PRXPR - a no-overhead organization founded to directly reach those most affected by hurricanes Irma and María. The funds will go to PRXPR’s initiative to provide a year’s worth of healthy snacks to children enrolled in the Boys and Girls Club of Puerto Rico’s Vieques center.

Teens4PR has financially supported BGCPR programs in Loiza and the Llorens Torres housing project so far, and is proud to support this effort to help children on the island municipality of Vieques - one of the most affected jurisdictions in Puerto Rico.

Here is a message from PRXPR's founder, Carmen Báez:

I wanted to thank you and Teens4PR for your generous $2,000 donation to PRxPR. As you requested, we will incorporate this gift to our BGCPR Vieques Heathy Snacks grant which will be used to buy daily healthy snacks for 80 kids for 52 weeks.

I am copying BGCPR’s Patricia de La Torre here so she knows you all have joined us in this effort.

I would appreciate it if you could share this message of gratitude with the teens at Teens4PR. They are making a difference in many children’s lives.

Thank you
