Teens4PR is grateful to the Brooklyn Friends School community for once again supporting Teens4PR’s efforts at this weekend’s WinterFest. Parents, faculty and students purchased $950 worth of Puerto Rican-designed or made goods to benefit Teens4PR and the three organizations it sponsors: Para la Naturaleza, Centros Sor Isolina Ferré and Boys and Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico. This brings the total amount raised at Brooklyn Friends to more than $2,000, which does not includes the hundreds of pounds of relief goods donated by families since the passage of Maria in September. We are also grateful for the Service Learning folks who focused on Puerto Rico at their table this year. Gracias!
